OPEN TO RIDGEWOOD RESIDENTS AND RESIDENTS OF SURROUNDING TOWNS

The “2009 Special All-Stars Program” is the 3rdannual RBSA program designed for children with special needs. Registration is open to both Ridgewood residents and non-residents in surrounding towns. The program will take place on four Sundays, May 3, May 10, May 17 & May 31 at Vets Field (behind the Ridgewood Library and Village Hall) from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each day. The fee for this program is $35.00 per child.

As part of the program, we will be presenting each team member an RBSA shirt and baseball hat, a trophy recognizing their participation in the program (the last Sunday is Awards Day). Sport Shots will provide photographs of each individual player and the entire Special All-Star team. Your children will also receive one-on-one instruction from RBSA volunteers comprised of Ridgewood High School players, RBSA coaches and other volunteers. It will be an incredible experience for everyone! Please join us on Sundays this May! The response has been wonderful!

Marianne Griffith is spearheading the program for your children with enthusiastic support from Frank Mauriello, Special Education Teacher at the George Washington Middle School in Ridgewood .

TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD FOR THIS PROGRAM, PLEASE GO TO:

This will take you to Village of Ridgewood Community Pass website. If you are an existing user, please enter your User Name and Password. If you are a new user, please set up an account via the link below the Sign In button. Once you have signed in, a Welcome page will appear. Just below the "Register Now" section, select "Ridgewood Baseball and Softball Association" as your organization; then select the 2009 Special All-Stars Program and click Register Now! Simply follow the prompts to complete the process. A credit card is required to pay the $35 program fee.
