2008 Parade Information

The baseball season officially opens with the annual RBSA parade on Saturday, April 12, 2008.  Players should meet at the railroad station at 8:30 AM. 

Please be prompt!  The parade must start at 9AM sharp!. For your exact meeting place, check the Parade Map for the location.

The teams will proceed in age order, from youngest to oldest:

 

        1.      Kindergarten Instructional (Baseball & Softball) will lead, then

        2.      First Grade Clinic/Games Baseball

        3.      First and Second Grade Softball

        4.      Second Grade (Paskalides) Baseball

        5.      Third Grade (Paskalides) Baseball

        6.      Ponytail Softball

        7.      Little League Minors

        8.      Junior Softball

        9.      Little League Majors

        10.    Senior Softball

        11.    Bonvarlet

  
 

 

Family Fun Day:

The parade will continue onto Veterans Field and after the opening day ceremony, the annual Ridgewood Baseball/Softball Fair will run from 10:00 AM until 12:15 AM. The Fair will include:

*      Many fun events for all children, kindergarten through 8th grade, boys and girls, including “Home Run Derby”, throwing accuracy and base running events.

*      Food and Snacks

*      Cool RBSA Merchandise

*      Clinics and Displays by Ridgewood area merchants and instructional schools.
