New for 2011-2012 RBSA Rec Baseball: Bats with composite handles are allowed, bats with composite barrels are not allowed In RBSA Rec Baseball.

Some Travel Leagues AND Tournaments will allow certain specifically Little League approved composite bats:

Pitching Rule:

Pitchers whose age is 11 or 12 are permitted to throw no more then 85 pitches per day. If a pitcher reaches their pitch count limit during a player at bat they are permitted to finish pitching to that batter then must be removed.

Pitchers must observe the following rest schedule:

66 or more pitches in a day requires a minimum of (4) four calendar days of rest.
51-65 pitches in a day requires a minimum of (3) Three calendar days of rest.
36-50 pitches in a day requires a minimum of (2) Two calendar day of rest
21-35 pitches in a day requires a minimum of (1) One calendar day of rest
1-20 pitches in a day � no day or rest is required.

Warm up pitches are not included in official game pitch counts. A pitcher is permitted no more then (5) five warm up pitches from the mound when entering a game.
