For players in grades 7-12, this program stresses more advanced development and will be comprised of two divisions: one for younger players and one for older or more advanced players.

Message from the Commissioner:

Bat rules: To provide for safety, and for my own personal preference, all Bonvarlet Senior league players must use wood bats for the entire season. The Commissioner will supply several unbreakable wood bats to be kept in the field boxes where Bonvarlet baseball is played so no extra expense is incurred by players. Junior Bonvarlet league may still use metal (aluminum / alloy) bats and bats with composite handles (no composite barrel bats allowed in any Rec league age group), although wood bats are still preferred.

Pitching: Active pitchers on any level of High School may not pitch in Senior Bonvarlet until the high school season is over. Both leagues will have elimination playoffs and several (4 or more) pitchers will be required to meet pitch count limits while advancing to the championship. So that means develop pitchers.

No restriction on spikes in any league although with all the Field Turf surfaces it makes sense to favor non metal baseball shoes.
