Summer Baseball
2011 Summer Baseball
The RBSA is pleased to offer baseball players in the recreational program the opportunity to continue to play baseball this summer and develop their skills in a fun, positive environment.
The Summer Recreational Baseball Program is open to all (non travel) boys and girls, ages 9 and up (at the time of registration) in the Ridgewood area.
Fee & Registration
- The fee for the 2011 Summer Recreational Program is $60. Registration is online only at www.ridgewoodsports.org via Community Pass. Please register by July 1st, 2011.
Summer Rec Baseball Program Overview
The program will consist of two leagues:
- Little League (9-12 year olds)
- **Bonvarlet League (13 year olds and up)
In both leagues, teams will play good old fashioned pick up ball! All games are officiated by umpires and teams are selected with strong consideration of age and ability.
Schedule
The leagues will begin play in late June and conclude the last week of July. There is an end of the season BBQ following the last game
- Little League: 3 games a week (2 on weekdays, 6 p.m. & 1 on Saturday)
- Bonvarlet: 2 games a week (1 weekday, 6 p.m. & 1 on Saturday)
Coaches-Looking for Volunteers
We Need Your Support! A great deal of the success of the Summer Recreational Baseball Program is dependent upon the parents who serve as coaches for the teams.
If you are interested in serving as a coach, please be sure to sign up online.
** If an insufficient number of older players do not register, Bonvarlet players will receive a refund.
